Siloam Center for the Blind has signed a MOU about the rehabilitation therapy project with the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) in April, 2015, and it has had a donation ceremony on the 31st July(Friday). The purpose of the Mongolia Rehabilitation Therapy project was to supplement the infrastructure and strengthen the official's professional empowerment through the rehabilitative therapy for the disabled people. The aim of this rehabilitation therapy is to help Mongolia to independently continue on the good quality of rehabilitation therapy. The agreement was about renovating the rehabilitation treatment room and supporting 50 types of rehabilitation therapy equipments. The empowerment training was taken by rehabilitative medicine doctors and phyiscal therapists.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Siloam Center for the Blind signed MOU with Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences and Mongolian National Federation of the Blind on July 2016 and had a donation and completion ceremony on October 21.
Siloam Center for the Blind implemented empowerment training for 26 rehabilitation doctors and physical therapists from October 17 to 21 in Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. In addition, Siloam Center for the Blind executed invitation training in Korea for 8 rehabilitation specialists from November 14 to 25.
Also, Siloam Center for the Blind provided laptops, other informatization appliances, etc. to Mongolian National Federation of the Blind in order to support informatization instructors' training project.
