Siloam Center for the Blind has cooperated with the Siloam Eye hospital in October, 2015 and has sent transportation clinic team to the eye hospital in the Republic of Uzbekistan Karakalpakstan. The clinic was sent to support eye examiniation and recovery operation. Through these services, over 400 out-patients were examined and 30 patients received eyesight recovery operation so they could live a new life. Also, on 8th October(Thursday) the donation ceremony was conducted with the local eye hospital. Through the donation ceremony, medical equipments such as the YAG laser machine, a perimeter, Anguk optical tomography machine were donated during the ceremony. In addition, the Siloam Eye Hospital has invited 3 local doctors to South Korea for 1 month and conducted a training to deliver advanced medical techniques and strenghten their capabilities.
